In celebration of the Milk-Bone® brand’s 100th Anniversary (that’s 700 in dog years), America’s favorite dog snack is conducting a nationwide search for the first-ever Milk-Bone® SpokesDog. And it's coming to Dog Fest, 2008 in West Chester!

That’s right…the Make A Milk-Bone Moment™ mobile tour is traveling across America with its next stop at Dog Fest in West Chester, OH! Pet parents and their furry friends will get a chance to pose for the camera and share their Milk-Bone Moment™ with the world. In addition, dogs can sample delicious Milk-Bone® snack products while pet parents can relax and share their favorite moments with others.

Why:
A century ago, a New York City baker was barking up the right tree when he decided that his four-legged friends deserved a tasty treat too. Originally created in a small bakery on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, the biscuits became known to millions as Milk-Bone® dog biscuits, America’s favorite dog snack.

To commemorate 100 years of bringing smiles to dogs’ and pet parents’ faces, the Milk-Bone® brand will celebrate millions of Milk-Bone MomentsTM between pooches and their parents in a grand way with the launch of the Make a Milk-Bone MomentTM contest.

The top 100 Milk-Bone Moments™ will be posted on www.Milk-Bone.com and America will vote on the finalists to determine the favorite Milk-Bone Moment™. The winner of the Milk-Bone Moment™ search, who meets all of the contest winner requirements in the contest rules, will receive a $100,000 contract for their dog to serve as the first-ever Milk-Bone® SpokesDog.

Almost any dog can do tricks, but in celebration of 100 years, Milk-Bone is    looking for pictures and videos that capture those irreplaceable, special times that you have with your best friend….those moments of joy that strengthen the bond between a pet and his or her pet parent—a head on your lap when you are snuggling on the couch together, a little dance when he learns you are taking a walk together or even a sloppy kiss on the cheek to remind you how much he loves you!
